Just a reminder that this coming Friday the 10th is the first practice for ABL followed by the first game this Sunday the 12th. If your child is signed up for ABL, you should have received an email with this information from Casey Dietrich. If you have not please reach out to him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Looking forward at the upcoming forecast, we want to remind you of our inclement weather protocol. This year, alerts will go out via text, email and voicemail AS WELL as postings on our website and on our facebook page for any school delays or closures. Please note we do NOT fall under Battle Ground School District for closures and delays, be sure you are checking the above outlets for information directly from MGAES.
Please remember, we have 3 days built into our calendar to accomodate for inclement weather, if we need to use more than 3 days we will end up having school on March 18 and 19 (designated as “Snow Make Up Days”). We will be sure to communicate if that becomes a reality. Also, late starts do not count towards a “Snow Day”.
NO SCHOOL on Monday, January 13th
AND Tuesday, January 14th.
Do not drop your student off to the front doors before 8:20 AM. If students arrive prior to 8:20 AM they MUST be dropped off in front of the gym for KidZone. As a reminder, there is no charge for KidZone from 8:10 AM – 8:20 AM, however it is the only area where students are supervised. If they are dropped off at the front doors, they will be asked to go directly to KidZone.
Also, please remember our Pick-Up route and procedures. We need everyone’s help to maintain a steady traffic flow when sending home over 300 students. We appreciate your understanding as our pick up and drop off lines feel the blessed pain from our wonderful student enrollment growth!
