Thank you for standing by us and supporting us. We wish we could find the words to express how much it means to us that you have continued to support our teachers, our staff and allowed us to continue to teach your children. We truely MISS them and we miss you.
We know that times are confusing and difficult and that you have questions. A question we have heard from some is if we are able to discount tuition. We get it, we understand and we wish that we could. However, our school operates on a fixed budget and those budget items do not simply go away because we are not physically in the building at this time. When these difficult times are over, we will come back stronger than ever, however that means that we need to be business minded and carefully manage our funds to ensure that we can continue to provide a quality Adventist education.
That said, we DO understand that many of you have had hours cut and jobs lost. We do not know your specific needs right now, some of you may need groceries, some may need a faster internet for all of the eLearning and some of you may just need toilet paper. Late this week, we are sending each family a check for $50 to spend on whatever your needs are right now, no questions asked. We know that it isn’t much and from the bottom of our hearts, we wish we could do more for each of you. We hope that in some small way, it helps you.
Please watch your mailbox and know that we are thinking of you, praying for you and waiting until we can see you again!

… is it too much?
… too little?
We have heard from several parents about communication – is it too much? Is it too little? We understand and we hear you! Please understand that during this time there WILL be more emails than what we normally send out in the school year, there will be more emails beyond Tuesday notes. Because we do not ‘see’ you at pick up line or we do not ‘see’ your student all day, there may be things we need to tell you that cannot wait for the next Tuesday. Likewise, it is very important to us that we do not undercommunicate, we want you to be as informed as possible and feel that we are doing our part. Our teachers recognize that google classroom sends an automated email each time that an assignment is created, unfortunately that is not something we can shut off. We suggest making a folder to move them into, that way you do not need to open each one but have the folder for referencing assignments.
NO SCHOOL Next Wednesday
April 22ndOur teachers have continuing education meetings on this day. Please enjoy the sunshine and time with your family.
We are excited to announce that Mr. McNabb has helped us in achieving a VersaCare Grant that will help us complete our 1 to 1 technology program for MGAES. Thank you Mr. McNabb for your hard work and thank you VersaCare Grant for making it possible for each student to have access to technology.
Watch for an email from Jessica Minden in the Business Office for an opportunity to purchase a chrombook – TO KEEP! They will be $75 each, if you are already renting a chromebook, your $25 fee will apply as a credit to the purchase price. These are ASUS google chromebooks that are used/refurbished.
